Successful discharge and delivery of the Northern Endeavour FPSO from HLV Hua Rui Long to Denmark
BE&R congratulates the Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR) Northern Endeavour Team on the successful discharge of the Northern Endeavour Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO) from the heavy lift vessel Hua Rui Long in Frederikshavn, Denmark.
BE&R Consulting is proud to have supported DISR over the past two years, providing expert technical analysis and advice to help manage requirements, issues, and risks across the tow and recycling phases – from the preparation for field departure to final discharge of the FPSO, including:
- Vessel disconnection
- Wet tow to Singapore
- Pre-transit shipyard works
- Heavy-lift loading onto the Hua Rui Long
- Transit to Denmark and;
- Vessel handover to the recycling yard
A complex, multi-stage maritime operation like this is only possible through strong collaboration and disciplined risk management across all parties involved.
